The 30Thirty30 Bike Ride Challenge - Wednesday 20th
to Sunday 24th July 2011
What’s this all about?
2011 sees the 30th Anniversary
of Exclusive Hotels and to celebrate we are aiming to
raise a rather magnificent £30,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support as
well as £30,000 for the hospitality industry charity,
Springboard.
On your bike!
We aim to achieve this target by running a
sponsored round robin bike ride, starting at Fanhams Hall in
Hertfordshire and visiting all our country house hotels and golf
clubs along the way, finishing at South Lodge Hotel with a
spectacular Gala Dinner. This is our core event and is designed to
include all levels of cyclist, some cycling the whole tour and some
a shorter distance of just one or two legs.
And in a supporting role, static bikes will
also be placed in the lobby of each hotel or golf club enabling our
guests to get involved throughout the whole year too!
So in all, we hope to collectively notch up
30,000 km in the year on our way to raising £30,000 for Macmillan
Cancer Support.
