Industrial Placements

Student placements can offer a fantastic insight into the hotel and hospitality industry in the UK. Each year a number of students join us for their industrial placement lasting anything from 20 to 48 weeks.

Students tend to specialise in either the Rooms Division or Food and Beverage side of the business, and we are able to build a customised programme based on individual wishes and the business needs so that they are able to experience many different areas of the business.

Occasionally, we are able to offer placements in other areas of the business such as Accounts, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Golf or Spa so it’s always worth getting in touch to see if we have any opportunities available.

We have staff accommodation at each of our properties, so are often able to offer live in positions as well as a competitive salary and the opportunity to earn service charge.

Many of our placement students return to us once they finish their degree in a permanent role, and we’re always delighted when an old friend comes back to the family!
