A Winter's Tale - outdoor Shakespeare performance at The Manor House

Leontes, King of Sicilia,imagines that his wife, Hermione, is committing adultery and imprisons her. Whilst in prison she gives birth to a daughter however Leontes has the baby abandoned in the wild and brought up by a shepherd. Sixteen years later, the abandoned daughter falls in love with the son of Polixenes. When Polixenes forbids his son to marry a mere shepherd girl, the lovers escape to Leontes’ court in Sicilia. A miraculous reunion follows...

Casino Royale at The Manor House
